I cannot imagine this election without two or three surprises.... |
|
Whether it be in the Senate races, or whether it surprises that two or three Bush states go for Kerry, there will be some surprises. There is simply so much unpredictability that something unforseen has to happen. I'm thinking the Democrats will pick up the Senate. :)

1. We have so many close races |
|
We can pick up both the Senate and the House, if everything goes right. That's why GOTV is so important even in the "safe" states, because some of the most hotly contested House and Senate races are in places like Alaska, Kentucky, Texas, California, New York, South Carolina, and Oklahoma.

2. There is a longshot Democrat that may pull off an upset |
|
here in Iowa's first district. His name is Bill Gluba, and he announced his candidacy basically because no one else was willing to run against the incumbent, Jim Nussle. Gluba, however, is gaining momentum daily and has picked a key endorsement from the largest circulation newspaper in the district. He is also a very visible member of his hometown, as he is a real estate agent and his name is on for sale signs all over town. Stay tuned to this one, it may get interesting.

i can't help thinking they're going to steal it completely stealthily. Honestly, if OH goes for smirk, are you going to buy it ?
Given honest elections, we have live chances to pick up KY, AK, and CO, along with our IL shoo-in. Factor in election theft, and we're fu(ked.
