What happens if there is still a line of voters at poll closing time?
Does it vary state by state?

1. As long as you are in line by closing time, you get to vote.

7. Yes every state
If it is getting late and anyone tells you to leave or whatever you get the Dem poll watcher to call the emergency hotline in your state. Each precinct captain at the polls knows what I am talking about. Have them make the call and a lawyer will be there in minutes!

8. EVERYONE on line before the polls are scheduled to close VOTES
Edited on Mon Nov-01-04 03:48 PM by rocknation
NO MATTER HOW LONG IT TAKES. You CANNOT be turned away, and the polls CANNOT CLOSE until the LAST person who was on line before the polls close has voted! This applies to ALL FIFTY STATES! Bring a cell phone with you in case there's a problem.

11. Call 1-866-OUR VOTE
for advice about your state's election laws before you go, and bring your cell phone with you and call that number if anybody tries to keep you from voting for any reason!
