Anyone else worried about the weather?
I am very confident, I am just worried about the outside influences...i/e the weather and Karl Rove.

Anyone else worried about this? It look like a large front going through the eastern Midwest, especially Ohio...with an 80% chance of rain.

1. What's a little rain?
I'd crawl on my belly through the mud to vote if I had to, and millions more feel the same.

2. Ohioans won't be turned back by a little water!!
Great example: when my mother was phonebanking over the weekend, a Kerry voter who had just come through a heart transplant refused a ride to the poll. She claimed that she'd crawl to the polls rather than miss her chance to vote out Shrub.

OK, she was put on a list of people who very much may need a ride, so don't worry that she's falling through the cracks. Still, it's the attitude that counts.

This time tomorrow I'm popping champaign!! :toast: :bounce:

5. very confident yet worried about rain you say?
In other words choosing not to vote in the rain is an acceptable trade-off for four more years of Bush?

Unbelievable.

6. Republicans can't be bothered to vote when it rains
But our survival depends on voting tomorrow. We will vote, rain or shine. Let them stay home. Better for us.

14. It's obvious to all the DUers!
WE would all drive through the Perfect Storm to get Chimp out of office...but I am just worried about the general people...You never know when every vote could possibly count.

All I am saying is: More vote turnout benefits democrats. The weather could supress turnout. Therefore, less votes for Democrats.

13. The Less energized party is hurt by weather
If the Democrats are more pissed off than the Republicans are enthusiastic for their candidate, then Bush will be hurt more by bad weather. I personally think that's true. Plus, NW Florida, the most GOP part of the state, is expected to get bad weather while the rest of the state will have decent weather. THat could make the difference in that state.

20. If It Rains Let It Rain.....
Edited on Mon Nov-01-04 11:09 PM by TheWatcher
If it rains let it rain, yea the wetter the better
They ain't gonna stop us, they can't, we're stronger now more then ever,
They tell us no we say yea, they tell us stop we say go,
Rebel with a rebel yell, raise hell we gonna let em know
Stomp, push up, mush, fuck Bush, until they bring our troops home come on just . . .

Come along, follow me as I lead through the darkness
As I provide just enough spark, that we need to proceed
Carry on, give me hope, give me strength,
Come with me, and I won't steer you wrong
Put your faith and your trust as I guide us through the fog
Till the light, at the end, of the tunnel, we gonna fight,
We gonna charge, we gonna stomp, we gonna march through the swamp
We gonna mosh through the marsh, take us right through the doors

FAREWELL W.
