From their email:
The media interest in our Election Day operations has become intense due to the overwhelming number of calls pouring into our 1-866-MYVOTE1 voter alert line. The New York Times in its editorial this morning listed our voter alert line as one of the major resources that will allow voters to make sure their votes are counted on November 2. The volume of calls has been beyond our wildest expectations! Already by this morning, we have had more than 71,000 calls pouring into our voter alert line, and we are now expecting more than 150,000 calls on Election Day alone.
The information we're collecting from all across the country - from the thousands of people who've called the 1-866-MY VOTE1, from our on the ground monitoring effort, and from your online voting stories - is crucial for our research. We need to know what works, as well as what doesn't and why, to help fix our election system. The information gathered from voters about their personal experiences will help us paint a much clearer picture of the election system than has ever been done before.
More importantly, if the election results are contested, the huge body of documented, non-partisan voter information we have been gathering over the last week will be invaluable. And, even if the results of November 2 are not contested, this information will be crucial to our work to reform our flawed election system.
If you haven't yet had a chance to submit your report on your voting experience, please make sure to fill out our simple form - which will not take you more than a minute or two. Please do it as soon as possible after you vote:

We are hoping that we will not find our nation in another difficult situation like it faced on the morning of November 8, 2000. However, after listening to stories from voters, and reading daily news reports on voter suppression, voter irregularities, and court challenges during the last few days, we are concerned. This is why we need to make sure we are ready.
