even the polls that have my candidate doing good i am suspicious of. i am not saying the people who conduct them are involved in deception or anything. i do think they try to be as unbiased as possible. but i just don't trust them. i can't really get excited about them. i can only keep supporting my candidate for reasons i have always done. is anyone else feel this way about these polls ? (senator kerry also blows off polls no matter where he is which is one thing i like about him)

I think they can give you a "ballpark" idea at best. I've yet to see one of these pollsters nail one right on the head.

Yes, there are too many variables, especially in Iowa. Anything can happen, who knows where they exactly polled, Iowa has a varied population, lots of stuff. It's the work between now and Monday night that will make the difference.
