I'm not uniting with Bush.
He's put out the call for me to put my past differences aside and unite as one jolly, big nation. Problem though? I don't agree with him or his minions. So that whole uniting thing just cannot happen. I read his delusional acceptance speech and found myself not inspiried, but sickened. (http://www.georgewbush.com/News/Read.aspx?ID=4186).

So, George, in reposnse to your call for unity...

NOT A CHANCE.

5. Thats OK
because he has no intention of uniting with anyone who doesn't already agree with him. in fact I'm mystified as to why he even said it. We won't beleive him for a nansecond and his base doesn't consider us to be "real Americans".

20. This is very true...
I know it is just lip service, but it's such offensive lip service - especially now when the post-election wound is runnin' a little tender. :)

6. I'm united with you in not uniting with Bush
I firmly believe that he stole another election. My family in Ohio personally experienced vote suppression and so did thousands of others.

21. Terrible!
I've been reading more and more about how the pieces just aren't fitting together. Even if this was a completely fair election, though, I'd still snub my nose at the little runt.

7. NEVER!
I never supported him or the Republicans for any reason, why would I start now. I don't even support people or places who support him. I think they are the pit of the universe.

22. Yeah - my friendship circles are getting more selective...
Just today I was thinking to myself that I was going to hold onto my little liberal cluster as tight as I could and not let them go.
Ever. :)

8. Bush is only a temporary White House resident for four
more years, not the president. He is president to all the rednecks from the south but not to the east and west coasters.

23. Good point...
I'll view him as a guest in a large, white house. Except that he would be the type of guest that steals your towels, peeks through your medicine cabinet, and drinks the OJ straight from the carton while kicking your dog in the face.

A social disease has more attraction to me than uniting with such a walking stack of fertilizer(Bush). No thank you. I do not need 24 hour nausea.

12. Its all talk
Don't worry about uniting with Bush. He doesn't want you to. He still thinks you are an anti-American traitor for not falling for his bullshit and lies.

The only reason he is mentioning this bullshit about bipartisanship and unity is because he controls congress and will soon control the Supreme Court (even more so than he does now).

So, he is spewing all this nonsense about bi-partisan efforts so he can make it seem like he is a uniter passing meaningful, bi-partisan legislation when he is really just using his complete control of the government to push through fascist, right-wing policies.

27. Perhaps a timely delivery of pretzels?
He can't seem to resist the salty goodness of a pretzel, and if you send the pretzel rod, as opposed to the preztel twist, the snacking hazard increases tenfold.

14. Agreed. And I'm not helping them anymore.
NO conciliatory gestures
NO cooperation, even if something looks like it might be good

No more calling him by his name - even at the end, he couldn't bring himself to call Kerry anything other than "my opponent."
Guess what, monkey-boy, I AM YOUR OPPONENT AS WELL!!!

His "agenda of reforms?" Good fucking luck.
Faith-based initiatives? Go to your big churches, and stay away from mine that can't afford to pay my health insurance.

Privatize Social Security? FUCK YOU!

And don't even BEGIN to think of Supreme Court appointments. You thought Bork and Thomas had it tough? Your first nominee will be crucified, dragged through the mud, and rejected.

**********

And, to the Media:

FUCK YOU.

I'll keep Keith Olbermann, Dan Rather, Ron Reagan, Jon Stewart, and Triumph, the Comic Insult Dog.

***********

When we refuse to cooperate, watch this co-dependent nation go to hell. Just watch.

17. He's a filthy liar. And the moment he does something, and that won't take
long, we'll be as divided as ever.

If the economy collapses under *'s watch, the repuke voters should hate him also.

My coworker today told me to have faith in * and thinks that with Dashle gone, business conditions will improve for American workers. Upon asking her for details (she was just reading a glib article in the Pioneer Press repuke newspaper), she hadn't a clue. (But while I disliked Daschle, the repukes can now grant many corporations every dream they want.)

of purpose and unity through coercion and domination.

See how he stole this election.

29. He's a goddamned thief
who has twice hijacked the Presidency. He belongs in Abu Ghraib. I'll never look at his ugly face again much less listen to anything he has to say.

My parents have a saying when something really shitty happens to them. "Who did I kill? " as in "Who did I kill to deserve this?"

Well that's how I feel. What did the millions of us who despise Bush and everything he stands for do to deserve to have to put up with him for another four? It's too much. I can't stand the thought.
