Being in denial is like being blindfolded and if you want change that is not a good state.

We need to face reality which is:

THIS COUNTRY IS GETTING TALIBANIZED!

Think about it, 51% of the population put religion and culture war ahead of the economy, jobs, health care, education, the environment, ties with our allies, social justice, social security and the list goes.

51% is a HUGE number! We have a lot of work ahead of us and it is going to be a long time until we see minor changes.

Let's face it. I'm not being pessimistic. I'm being a realist here. It is time to wake up and start the ground work again!

I feel a tremendous burden lifted from me. I am no longer responsible for the pain and suffering of my fellow countrymen. We did everything we could to help and were told "no thanks." Fuck em.
