DUers setting up the circular firing squad very nicely
Rove could not have planned it any better.

People are turning on Kerry because he saw that counting votes out of thin air due to the gamed Diebold machine fiasco was not going to help.

People are banging on their old wounds from the primary season to say that Kerry would not be as good as Dean would or whatever.

People are thinking that there is a possibility that trying to get votes counted that can't be verified can somehow be done. Let's get Siegfried and Roy to pull the votes out of some lion's ass.

Yes, we were gamed by Diebold. Yes, Kerry conceeded to move on and start other battles. Yes, we have to listen to that motherfucker Chimpy for as long as he serves his second term.

Yes, we are frustrated after all the real hard work we have done. We are ignoring the silver linings.

We want to start a circular firing squad on ourselves out of frustration. It won't work or be productive. Rove loves it when we do this shit.

1. We need to put our energy into other things
Let's take back the Hill in two years. But we can't do it without fixing the election system. We need to make life HELL for our towns and states until every one has a _working_ verifiable system.

2. Amen brother
That's going to be one of my new passions: election reform.

We will take back America by making that sacred and simple gift of democracy strong and alive again...the vote.

12. *g* It's sister ;), and Amen right back! I plan on changing the page
somewhat soon. Will slide the BBV section to the top of the page, and will add links for contacting Sens, Reps, Newspapers etc.

We have GOT to make a stink about this!

13. Instead, We Need to Paint This Thing as a Tainted Election
Call it as it is...No mandate, at best a tainted election.

3. Divide & Conquer has been the tactic of imperialists throughout history...

and it's working pretty well right now here.

Meanwhile the right is already organizing for the next round.

We're wasting time pointing fingers. Time is of the essence, and we cannot afford to piss away the unity we established.

Time to organize on the next issue!

8. Catfight - the are few but significant
main one being - Fuckwad , for the first time in his entire life , will be faced with cleaning up his own shit , failing , and we will ALL get to hold HIM accountable . You cant take 8 years and still blame 9-11 , recession (smallest/shallowest in decades btw) and Bill Clinton for all your fuck-ups....not even this cabal of Media Whores we have now could let that slide.

9. Would you like to put some of that red money on it...he is the excuse

10. Some silver linings to work on
The Iraq War is now firmly and completely Bush's and the Repugs to own. They can't blame anyone else for the deaths and the quagmire. Kerry would have inherited this mess and the Repugs would have turned on him immediately, this making it a Democratic Party war.

The spiraling deficit is all Bush's to own and be blamed for. Again, Kerry would have inherited this mess and had to cut and cut to become fiscally responsible. The Republicans own this mess.

Bush will have a few members of his cabinet leave and you can bet some of them will show just how much of an asshole Bush is.

The Repugs can no longer blame Clinton for the mess that they are making. Their party is going to have their own battles with the neocons fighting the moderates and the theocrats trying to hold on to power.

The Medicare bill that will come up in 2006 is for Bush and the Repugs to own. They can't blame Democrats.

2006 is going to be a major bloodletting of the House and Senate if we change our energies there quickly. We could take back both houses if we train on the target and execute.

Then we would have enough votes to impeach Bush.

5. I agree with you
And I was one of the people screaming yesterday about the concession.

I have a tendency to react in a negative way initially to anything like this and to want to blame someone...but once I calm down and think rationally I often change my mind (as in this case)

I don't blame Kerry after sitting back and analyzing everything and I agree completely we were gamed by Diebold.

7. Well,
shall we march in lock-step order, unwilling to express our opinions, hesitant to criticize, just because the neocons effectively do it? Give me a break.

11. Not what I was saying....
Please express yourself and do what you want. But think about what you are doing...pointing fingers and blaming in hindsight is generally not productive.

If we all scatter in the wind after having such unity just days ago, we have squandered what could have been.
