3 days and I still cannot watch the news.
I just can't stand to hear them talk about Bush. TV land has become my favorite channel to watch.

1. I glance at the newspaper vending machines, but I didn't buy one.
I just can't right now. I saw a picture of Bush grinning like a fucking idiot on the front page of the Chicago Tribune this morning. That's the last fucking thing I needed to read about.

4. I watch TV with the finger on the Power button
Actually, I hate watching TV. But wanting to peer into the abyss, I tried watching some news last night. As soon as the story about Chimpy's news conference came on, I had to turn the damn thing off.

I can't afford to replace my TV right now.

5. I'm on a news boycott
The TV is off, I don't read a Newspaper, and I refuse to discuss the election with my family or friends. I do read DU, though. My husband brought up some current event and I went off. He started laughing and said, "I think you are following the news." I refuse to do anything to support the biased media. I want facts, not spin.

7. I'm with you, Cally. I can't stomach TV news but I will read the
paper. Many of the papers endorsed Kerry, so I'm willing to give them my support. If I run across an article that infuriates me I simply scribble FU all over it and my stress is abated. LOL!

if i do it's usually a bit of local news.since i live in a mostly liberal area i don't have to put up with bush ass kissing disguised as objective news on there.

but i find out about what is going on mostly through online sites such as DU.

10. I get my news here, Air America, and FSTV.
Doubt if I'll ever trust the whores again. The pain and misery those scum have inflicted on this country and the world is despicable beyond belief.

11. I've been watching Court TV,
and listening to Air America for four days now. I cannot bear to watch CNN, MSNBC or any news channel at all because it's too painful.

17. for me the victim channel -- Lifetime
cause I sure am feeling victimized. Otherwise the TV is off.

Amazing what you can get done and how much better you feel when you don't watch that garbage or even have it on as background noise.
