I just read that on http://www.theleftocaster.com; it's from the AP. I'm sorry, but I can't see how things could turn around so fast ... unless there was skullduggery. This whole damn election is making me madder by the day.

1. theyare so fond of framing stories in the urban legend mode
and that is what this sounds like to me. In order to diminish charges of fraud, they have to put out a story that they actually were upset over the polls, and believed they would lose.

I went through a thing where I was watching all the photos at the end of the campaign and saw Bush looking as though he was a real defeated man and as usual the frump with the joker smile propping up her "man"

I now think it was all an act for the cameras. He really looked awful and terrible. I think it was acting.

5. he can't act that well, Marianne ...
Remember, this is the guy who can't get to the punchline of a joke without snickering away at his own cleverness. Perhaps they slipped him a little something so he wouldn't have that awful gloating look on his face.

I've been told that various substances, ranging from toothpaste (the kind with sodium fluoride) to cordite (ask one of the Secret Service guys to crack open a round from his pistol?) can make someone look queasy and awful like that.

6. If the election was stolen, those who stole it would NOT tell Dumbya
or anyone else without the need to know. Plausible deniability.

8. I agree why would they tell the Chimp
I'm assuming here that Bush is a front man for this cabal of business interests. He's not the guy who'd give the orders to the hackers personally.

Better for those guys to let Bush thing he'd won a great victory and had the support of the American people.

In my opinion they're playing him just like they're playing us, except of course he's a willing accomplice.

9. Didn't the administration say all that day that the polls were wrong
and that they felt "very confident" that they had more votes than the polls indicated in Florida and Ohio?

I very vividly remember hearing that, because it struck me as a strange thing to say.

10. And then Rove reportedly went into the WH Roosevelt Room
and started "working the phones". What do you think he was doing in the Roosevelt Room?

I think any investigation of voter fraud needs to look at Roosevelt Room phone records for that evening (and Rove's cell phone or Blackberry or whatever he uses. Who was Rove calling?
