2. what do you think of Kerry?
I just saw him on C-SPAN, and I was impressed. Been leaning Clark, primarily because of southern potential.

22. I am for Clark first, and then Kerry and Edwards are tied.
To vote in the general election for any of those three would overjoy my heart.

I am ABB, so I will vote for any of the candidates, but Clark, Kerry, and Edwards are my top three.

4. John Lennon would have opposed the IWR vote
and John Lennon would be supporting Dennis Kucinich today because he is the only candidate to call for an immediate withdrawal from Iraq.

What ever became of that John Kerry that stood next to John Lennon? Was he committed to peace as Lennon was, or was he only a groupie?

5. Lennon's political views were as shifty and great/awful as his music
But though I wouldn't want to put words in his mouth, the only candidate he would agree with on Iraq is probably Kucinich. Sometimes his views were like Two Virgins (just plain goofy), and other times like Plastic Ono Band (simple, but nice).

8. I love that photo, too.
Please don't (as you haven't so far) take some of the bait from others regarding Kerry.

The photo speaks for itself.

On with the primaries!

16. I agree. Kerry's bio has a taint of self-serving promotionalism in it
You could see him as a rich boy using his money and connections to get into as many high profile situations as possible. Still, someone who does the things he did in Nam is either a bit crazy about self promotion, or he is (or was) genuinely altruistic.

Interesting person. I may wind up voting for him. It all depends on who is tossing around the best populist class warfare rhetoric at the time I vote.

Glory Days by the Boss.

He seems to be extraordinarily enamored with his past.
