Poll question: Jesus vs. Jeb Bush 2008, Who would win? |
|
Come on guys...they're screwing us on the BBV. No matter WHO we run against them, we can't win if the fix is already in. In addition, we could run the most innocent man in the world against them and they would STILL smear him. Hell, they smeared Kerry for "not being wounded" enough. They smeared him for being too verbose. Geez, I can't tell you how to get to 7-11 and back in 2 minutes, I sure as hell hope it takes more than 2 sentences to say what a plan for the country is. God Himself could say "Do Not Vote For Jeb Bush" and some idiots (everyone at Free Republic included) would vote Jeb just because they are American dammit, and they don't like being told what to do by any furrener.

21. see that's why religion shouldn't dabble in politics. because it |
|
opens the belief to stuff like this. the fundies are all happy now, but how are they going to feel when someone, uses the political system to their advantage. there are way more non-religious voters in this country then religious, and all it will take is for someone to get them to the polls.
they are the pat robertson's and falwell going to say, oh no, there is a seperation between church, and state. sorry it will be to late, running on religion is helping the repugs now, but I believe that they have just opened pandora's box.

Hell, that's what happened last time he was here...
All the self-righteous bastards killed him.... Don't think they wouldn't do it again.

"Love thy neighbor" that would be all she wrote. The "moral majority" would freak out over two people from the same sex loving each other and that would be the end of Jesus' campaign.

Jesus said blessed are the poor. The Republican Taliban say curse the poor because they need tough love and self help groups.
Jesus would get all upset because he is a liberal.
The apocalypse would happen now. Jesus would then kick the Republican Taliban out of his church (America).
He kicked the money changers out of the temple. America is Gods temple country.

cheat, fraud, lie, steal, snitch, twitch, intimidate.
Jesus has long hair, a beard, and wears sandles and a dress.
No way the Christian Right votes for a hippie like that anyway.

|
who is way out of the mainstream. Electing Jesus would put our country at risk, can we risk another 9/11 attack? Our miracle economy would be badly affected by Jesus' anti-business policies that would hurt jobs. Jesus teaches our children to love our neigbors and enemies, but we shouldn't put our children at risk to those who hate us for our freedom. Vote Jeb Bush this November. I'm Jeb Bush and I approved this message.

Jeb Bush would still win against Jesus.
Jesus is the epitome of liberalism. Selflessness, sacrifice of the self for the good of many, etc.
They would never vote for that.
