1. Depends on the state of the election system
If we haver verifiable voting and ranked ballots, Ralph might run with the Greens again.

Who knows?

2. Here's the thing I don't get...
Edited on Thu Nov-11-04 02:21 AM by liberalequestrian
Rudy is the new superstar of the pugs.. I get it- he really fits in, but from what I understand, NYers were ready to really boot him out of office, maybe I'm getting this wrong... but he is kind of the pug's 2nd 9/11 hero (after arbusto) and had 9/11 not happened, Rudy would be sitting around (with his, what, now wife) waiting for the phone to ring... am I off base here? Didn't he cheat on his wife? Am I offbase here, or has he really been pushed to fame because of his "hero" role after 9/11?

Question- where would Brokaw fit in?

Finally, here's to my secret ambition of a Dean/Edwards or Edwards/Dean ticket!

3. You do realize that in four years, MANY things can change
People can get sick, even die (Ashcroft, Wellstone). People can become heroes (Gulliani). People can have scandals that shut down their careers (Newt Gingrich). Off color remarks can dim someone's chances (Trent Lott). New issues can come to the front and make someone seem like a better candidate (Brownback with abortion and gay marriage) or someone a worse candidate (Edwards would have been a stronger candidate had it not been for terrorism). We just don't know what will happen and no one is going to officially announce anything until 2006 at the earliest. Any talk of 2008 is pointless and counterproductive when there are races to be focusing on for 2006.
