While this book is not an end all be all to how to approach elections, it is the primer for progressive activism that will work. If you read no other book this year, pick this one up.

We will be able to get a good read on the 2006 elections by watching this book. If it becomes a HUGE bestseller over the next year, we will pick up seats in the House and Senate. If not, we will continue to lose on all levels. The information contained within this small volume is absolutely that critical to success.

If you want to win elections, read this book. If you are sick of the right wing, read this book. If you want to move the center to vote for Progressive Democrats, read this book.

7. Nope, your candidate fell into the same trap as all the rest

Your candidate allowed himself to dfall into the trap of defining the debate under Republican terms, thus he became the opposition to the frame already estabnlished and would have been a "bad guy" just like John Kerry.

Drop a sawbuck on the book, read it, and start looking at everything the Democrats are doing. It will be an eye opening experience.

I keep hearing about this guy. Doesn't he have a think tank? That might be a good place to contribute for 2008.

We need a zillion think tanks. We need to be spinning out pundits. I was reading something yesterday that said there are no Democratic pundits (yes, Carville and Begala but they seem cartoonish to me now) on talk shows for balance they get republicans and journalists.

We need to groom pundits just like they do. And we need think tanks to do it.
