should be really interesting or really boring
if you've ever been deep in the bowels of politics (I was back when I had the time and the energy) you'll be guessing boring but you never know !

Enjoy !

Caucus Night Reports
The climax of presidential campaigning in Iowa happens tonight (January 19), when Iowans gather at 1,993 Democratic Party precinct caucus sites throughout the state. Radio Iowa will provide 4-minute reports, twice hourly (:04 and :30), beginning at 7:30 p.m. and continuing until shortly after 10:00 p.m. Matt Kelley will anchor our coverage and we'll have reporters stationed at candidates' headquarters. Where possible, we'll provide live feeds of speeches from key candidates.

they will also be providing "TEXT" of their reports at the website

4. isn't this a bit like CSPAN walking into the voting booth with
each individual voting in a primary in one precinct.

6. the voting booth is a secret ballot, the caucas is very public.
of course that's not the same as being televised but nowadays it seems like everything is on the tube.

7. hush your mouth!!!!! it should be over by 10PM eastern
after the caucases determine the percentages of support, they go on to discuss twhat they want in the platform. but the 'voting' should be done and counted by 10-10:30.
