Ridge holds press conference to declare Dean psychic |
|
I known it's all a ploy to try to hide the breaking "Kurds captured Saddam" news off the front page, but us news junkies are the only ones who will know that for at least a while. To the rest of the American people, Dean is about to be declared psychic about stating the US is no safer after Saddam was captured. Ridge is not only about to make clear that we are not safer. He's going to make it official govenment policy that we are less safe.

1. The Newsweek poll said the same thing. |
|
51% of people said we are not safer. This was also the most sober sample as it was taken between the 18th and the 19th. All previous samples are null and void as a result.

2. Has the Saddam story been in the US press? |
|
I only saw overseas reports of it.
The US media is sitting on it I think.
Ridge could be using that "pre-emptive" attack technique they're so fond of promoting.
