We threw away Dean and annointed Kerry because we thought he would be more palatable to the wingers. We muzzled Al Gore because we thought that would be more palatable to the wingers. We sign Patriot Acts and IWRs etc. because we think that's more palatable to the wingers. And we keep fucking losing. And pretty soon, if we continue on this course, we will lose our own base.

Well, I would tend to be more positive about Hillary's chances of victory in 08. She clearly is not afraid to be a liberal and speak out about her core left beliefs, which is something that I think Kerry failed to do in this race.
