2. Were you in Ohio before the election? |

I was. I saw a lot of Kerry support-for every Bush sign or sticker there was 20 for Kerry, easy. There were at least 100,000 people out for Kerry's closing rally the night of November 1 in Cleveland. Yeah, I think Kerry won Ohio.

4. I'd say its a distinct possibility. Part of the problem is all of the folk |
|
s who were discouraged, turned away or misdirected so that either they didn't vote at all or their vote was invalidated in one way or another. If we truly had a full vote, I have no doubt. Even w/ the recount I think it could very well happen.

going to change, but I believe we should fight for a fair vote count anyway. I just never have believed in being complacent. If there is a breath of fight left in you, you should fight for your beliefs.

This is such a common side effect of the right wing propaganda. In the rush to refute and react the propaganda, too many people allow the context to be defined by the reactionaries without realizing that they are.
"It" - the "it" from which we should move on according to some, or the "it" that will determine the survival of the people's representative democracy - is not defined by the outcome of any one battle against the forces of tyranny.
So if you are asking if one particular outcome from one particular battle will go one way or the other, we don't know yet. If you are implying that the success of the movement rises or falls on the outcome of this one battle, then I say the answer to that question is "no."
To hang all of our hopes and fears on the outcome of any one battle is to play into the hands of the opposition. Just as they use divide and conquer on the people, they also use divide and conquer on the issues. Don't lose sight of the forest for the trees, and don;t let the opposition define your context for you.

9. no, i think they will run out the clock on us or deny something |
|
so that the count is either not done or done too late to change things. However even if that happens, we have been successful in changing our future by bringing the voting issues up and gettin gov and many others looking into it. That alone was against all odds with the way the media refused to even look at us. We can all be proud that we helped to save america. Now if we can just get that madman out of office.....

I mean if we do a recount and it turns out kerry won but its after the electoral college meets i think we could still get bush to not be president. I dont think its going to happen at all though.

10. Even if Kerry actually won |

I don't think they will let him take office. My wet dream is to have shrub in-auger-um-ated (with a real auger!) and then an investigation finds undeniable evidence of massive fraud against the entire cabal, Jebbie and collaborative governors, campaign and election officials included, causing the need for a special election to replace every last felon. The embarrassment of the scandal would cause the Religious Right, neo-cons, and anyone right of the Gropenator to head for the hills for the next 20 years. (sigh)
