Just back, My cacaus report

Our cacaus just broke up. Here are the results.

Delegates available to elect: 10


Dean 3
Edwards 3
Gephardt 2
Kerry 2
kucinich 0

Attendance at the precinct 60. (25 in 2000)

When we broke up into groups. Four groups started forming in the corners. I went looking for the kucinich group. Unfortunately, I was the kucinich group.

This left four people left in the center of the room. Myself for kucinich, One for Clark, Two undecided.


The chair determined our group in the center un-viable and requested we regroup with one of the viable groups.

Each of the viable groups sent around a representative (or two) to convince our small group of the errors of our ways and began to hold forth, like a hard core DU poster, of the joy of supporting their candidate and joining their group.

I went with my second choice, Dean. One undecided went to the Edwards group. One undecided to Gephardt. The Clark supporter was the last and went to the Kerry camp.

How disappointing your candidate was non viable. But in the end we all have to unite behind the nominee.

They showed two on the C-Cpans, but one was tiny and the other was huge (200+ ppl).

I would suspect most are medium like yours.
