Bernie Ward: "Federal gov't now able to track Americans from age 14 on"
Bernie's on right now discussing a proposed federal database of all college records. It's being sold as an aid to tax-paying Americans who want to judge the quality of a particular university. He mentioned that if a draft were to occur, there would most likely not be student deferments. Draftees would be allowed to complete their current semester and would then have to report for duty. Moving around from school to school would be one way to duck this, having a national database that tracked you every move would greatly improve the government's ability to prevent that.

He's asking the same question I am: "Why aren't people concerned with their privacy?"

WHY are we just sitting back and letting Bush and Karl Rove roll out their "agenda?"

WHY are we not in a state of outrage over the proposed "national sales tax," something that Bush RETRACTED during the election when Kerry called him on it?

1. Because ...
... there's a Very Special Episode of 'Desperate Housewives' coming up!

And there are $22 DVD players at Wal-Mart!

And how 'bout that wacky Scott Peterson, anyway?

7. I finally went off on my Mother....
....yesterday. I began training her without smacking her on the nose with a rolled newspaper. I succeeded in getting her NOT to show up at WalHell last Friday morning, and followed up with a phone call, and verbal reward.

But, when I entered her house last night, and saw Laci Peterson on the TV for the umpteenth time I flat out lost it, threatening to yank the cord from the wall, and pitch the thing out the back door. :spank:

I was promptly ridiculed when I yelled, "don't you SEE what they're doing?" Dad sarcastically pointed out that they don't have one of the Internets for "real" news (read :tinfoilhat: )

Its hard work I tell ya. :grr:
