However, if our President is an active alcoholic, we are in deeper doo than if he's just a dry drunk with a superiority complex, no? I can only speak for myself, but I did things drunk I was horrified by sober (ah, the beauty of blackouts), and can only imagine the havoc I could have wreaked had I had anything resembling power in those days. Happily, I was an underachiever par excellence, and the damage I wrought was largely to myself.

The Prez, though, is in a slightly different position. Get ready for an administration based on "self will run riot," as the expression goes. In other words: More of the same!

he he felt it was okay to drink in public since his "mandate". i saw a clip of him getting out of an SUV (backseat) in Texas, on the news the other day, and , and he seemed very unsteady on his feet- weaving back and forth, and almost stumbling. probably knocked back a few on his way to the ranch.

Remember the 'pretzel incident' a few years back?!?!

I think he was watching the Super Bowl (by himself if you can imagine that) and gagged on a piece of pretzel. Instead of panicking and running around trying to get air or make noise to get help...he passed out from the lack of oxygen and bruised himself in the process (sounds really likely to me. If so, how exactly did he dislodge the pretzel and begin to breath again!)

Sounds to me more like a black out from drinking a bit too much!!
