pardon me Mr. McClelland - CHEER UP HELL
if I'm not jumping for joy at the thought about our prospects of eventually winning the cultural war at some indefinite time in the future. Some of us won't be around for this triumph and, like me, not even for the next presidential race. Elections, and their impact on our whole society, are held in the present. The last four years of Republican (the conservative hardcore cabal) rule has already decimated over two to four decades of our painfully slow national progress in education, the environment, the judiciary, and our economic health as a people and nation - just to mention a few of their adverse effects on 'we the people'. Even John Kerry stated it would take a decade to begin restoring the imbalance that has been left behind by this administrations last four years of misrule. We should all shiver to think what a tragic mess our country will be in after four more years of right wing oligarchic rule. They must be stopped here and NOW - all DUers and people of good conscience should bend every effort, and I mean NOW, to reverse the fraudulent election results. Let us begin NOW to start the healing process we all know our nation desperately needs. Sorry if I sound strident about this matter, but I don't think we as a nation can take four more years of compassionate conservatism. We all must start NOW.
