Aren't the following ideas Kerry/Edwards during campaigning? |
|
Put more troops into Iraq to get job done?
Get other countries (such as Canada) to join in to get the job done?
I don't know what it is called when a presidential candidate steals the ideas of another presidential candidate......

I have been a Democrat since Kennedy--I wasn't able to vote for him because I was a few weeks short of age 21. I worked on Robert Kennedy's campaign on phones. I have voted in every major and minor election as a Democrat all the years inbetween.
I saw both Kerry and Edwards in Medford, OR this fall.
I was pepper-sprayed and detained by police when Bush was in our valley this fall for trying to have a picnic in a local park.
I am 63 years old and will stand before a tank before Arnold S. will ever become a president.
Even though I am disabled, I joined a group of Vietnam Vets on a street corner to rally for vets in front of tv cameras.
What I was trying to say is that Bush is now doing the things Kerry campaigned to do.
What does that have to do with a freeper, whatever that is?
This is my first original post on this forum, but not my first forum post in general.

I tried to find an article I saw a while back, headline something like "Don't look now, but Bush admin moving toward Kerry's advice on war."
Actually, during the campaign, Kerry would say something, and then the Bush Admin would make a move to do whatever it was, I think so that they could say "But we're doing that already."
Kerry would talk about guarding our ports better, for instance, then I noticed Bush throwing a token amount of money at the problem.
There would usually be a couple week gap between the Kerry statement and the Bush action. I started to think of Kerry as an unofficial advisor to the Bush admin. Perhaps they should have had him on the payroll.
I guess even they could see that the man knew what he was talking about.
