1. He isn't Hitler. Hitler was a competent demogogue.
Bush, as usual, is just the photo op.

3. To be fair, Hitler killed millions upon millions. Bush has killed only
one or two hundred thousand inncocent civilians, if you are to believe the recent Johns Hopkins study.

Maybe we should consider him another Charles Manson. No, that would be unfair as well. Manson only plotted the murder of a half dozen or so people.

Sorry about that Charlie.

that Hitler's attrocities are huge. Bush, yes he sucks but isn't even close to Hitler.

13. Think early 1930's Hitler. Even Hitler wasn't "Hitler" then.
Give it time.

He's ahead of Hitler for the same time frame in the killing department.

15. Yeah but by the early 30s
he was already blaming Jews for all bad things, banned oppostition parties, opened concentration camps and was talking about invading Poland and Austria.

Bush isnt even close.

7. Hitler vs Bush question
When did the majority of Germans finally figure that following Hitler was a dangerous thing. Before the war? During the war? At WWII end or did it take it a few years to sink in? Just wondering what we can expect.

11. I don't think Hitler started out killing millions....that came later.
He was about power, true believing, and not letting anyone get in the way of his "vision" for Germany. He was popular.
Here's a quote from my son's high school world history textbook.
" Shortly after becoming chancellor, Hitler called for new parliamentary elections. The Nazis hoped that the election would give them a parliamentary majority. Six days before the election, a spectacular fire destroyed the Reichstag, the German parliament building. The Nazis promptly blamed the Communists, although strong evidence suggested that the Nazis had set the fire themselves. By stirring fear of the communists, the Nazis and their allies won a slim majority of seats in the election.
"Now, that he controlled a majority of the Reichstag, Hitler demanded passage of an enabling act that would give him absolute power for four years. In order to pass the act, the Nazis expelled the Communist deputies from the Reichstag. With the communists gone, the nazis easily won the two thirds vote needed to pass the Enagling Act. Only one deputy had the courage to speak out against the bill."

It's scary how much the Bush and his gang are like the Nazis. As they gain more power, they become reckless and bold. They believe they have a "mandate" or "political capital" to do whatever they want.

12. He's more like Stalin. Take a look:

The more recent picture is taken from his appearance in Nova Scotia. The White House advance team provide the backdrop. Seems nobody pointed out that * was photographed in the Stalin spot.

In the words of Wonkette (from whence the photos are stolen):

Yes, ignore the Dantean implications of the color scheme, concentrate instead on how it looks like he's sitting with people who actually won a war. Not so much "Mission Accomplished" as "In Close Proximity to a Mission Accomplished."

16. Hitler's regime was not built in a day, fascism is increasing here
Yes and no. bush isn't Hitler. However, what he is doing, what the bushites are doing, is spreading and increasing fascism in our country. It took Hitler a while to get going, and he spread gradually but surely out until he was overthrown. The usa can become as dangerous as Hitler's world was, and bushites are sending it there.
