I had a dream. A THIRD WAY.

Seriously, last night I had a post apocalyptic dream.

The world was pretty depressing, There were 2 main factions. Those who no longer believed in any government or organization, essentially anarchists, some depressed and passive, some angry and destructive. And another group who were the takers, might makes right, authoritarians. Pushing people around, taking what they want etc..


I dont know why but I thought there needed to be a Third Way. Where there would be organization but where principals and the will and welfare of the people would be paramount.

I woke up realizing that we need a THIRD WAY. Not a party, a PHILOSOPHY, that we can all bring together in a coalition.

THE COALITION OF THE THIRD WAY

1) Political party affiliation is irrelavent. You are free to join or associate at will because the Third Way is ISSUE BASED.
2) Issues. a) Fair elections, government by and for the people. b) Fair economy, against exploitation, poverty, gluttony of wealth, corruption. c) Universal healthcare d) Fair justice, a crime is a crime. You repay by making the victim whole. If someone steals 75 dollars they need to make restitution and pay a reasonable penalty. If someone steals 75 million dollars they need to make restitution and pay a reasonable penalty. Justice for ALL equally, regardless of station. e) Lying to your political constituants (us. your bosses) is a crime. A serious crime. f) "News" in media must be factual. If it is proposed as "news" it must be facts otherwise it is "not news" and cannot be advetised or described as such.
3) The Constitution, Laws of the Land, Treaties and International Law are obeyed, period.


The coalition gets together at each election and backs candidates that best subscribe to our positions and as a group we push for our positions to be adopted.

And it's been used to represent a shitton of interests. And also, in the interest of not thinking like a totalitarian, I'm sure there is a fourth way, and a fifth way, et. al.

I agree that it would be nice -- but you're always going to have the rot from the right that doesn't want to sign on, causing trouble. We already HAD your described "third way," -- and they didn't like it -- that's why they want to be Christo-Fascists.
