At a restaurant tonight, I overheard 2 old couples talking about
the election. They were talking about that democratic woman who ran for the Supreme Court in Ohio that received more votes than Kerry in several counties.

This is information is getting out. This is good.

1. Who cares? Does the rest of Joe America care about this?
Or do only conscientious people and activists and those who are only "mildy awake" really care anymore? I'm serious here. I'm not trying to offend but to provoke discussion. It's gotten to the point where so many people simply turn it off because it seems so far out of their control and unrelated to their lives and looks so ugly that they wouldn't want to deal with anything with "politics" attached to it.

3. You miss the point of the post
Tony just said that people on the street are getting this info. It has bubbled up from the internets.

4. Watergate took nearly 2 years to get going
and come to fruition. This isn't a small country. This country is huge, and the dynamics are very different from those you'd find in Serbia or Ukrania.

We know the vote was tampered with. We know the whole process was rotten to the core with massive racketeering by the GOP.

Collecting and documenting all the information is what people need to be doing right now. Disseminating the information will have to come later, when it is complete.

6. I was really suprised to find election issues mentioned in today's paper
I live in a red state in a bright red area and one of the local weekly papers had 2 articles on election fraud and paperless voting. People are getting the word out. I only wish I felt like it would change something.

5. Sure hope they're typical...
But my sister-in-law, who considers herself a progressive Democrat, laughed in my face when I said I believed that the election was stolen. "Come on," she said, "this is still America!"

A lot of people don't want to believe the situation is really as terrible as it is.
