Head of DNC - choose a NON-Democrat
Choose a CEO. With a take-no-prisoners style.

The DNC is his "company" and it's his or her job to make it succeed. Let the policy wonks identify the policy and set goals. It's the CEO's job to MAKE IT HAPPEN.

We need a mercenary. Who is not wrapped up in it personally.

2. We already have an MBA president. A CEO chair of the DNC
sounds pretty repulsive to me...

4. Democratic party already is in the grips of corporate friendly

DLC and is thus drowning in its feckless continual movement to the ever shifting political center. I don't think a CEO will be good for the survival of the party at this time. The party needs someone that is not going to be another sellout to the corporations and the reThugs, someone with spine and vision and a strong committment to get the party back to its true principles.

10. Michael Moore or Arianna Huffington or Eric Alterman.
These are the non-Democrats I trust. Anyone who suggests a Republican IS a Republican.

if we didn't make a profit.

I want to stay in Hawaii...with my luck, I'd get outsourced to Siberia.

12. You're kidding right?
The last thing we need is CEO. We need a hard core , left of center, outspoken Democrat.

17. This makes so much sense...they'd never even consider it!
I like the idea of performance bonuses. Low base salary but high performance goals. Very cool!

I nominate Herbert D. Kelleher, CEO, Southwest Airlines

He started up competing against the big boys, beat them, and makes money year in and year out. He treats the employees very well and is well liked by all levels of the company. He serves refreshments (if you can call them that on SW) whenever he flies, which is quite frequently. He's from NJ and probably a Democrat. My man, Herb, for DNC Chairman.
