Lil billy tauzin did not concede in Louisiana |
|
After the votes were in last night showing he lost to Democrat Charlie Melancon (pronounced mah-lawn-son) in a congressional runoff 57,609 to 57,092, tauzin was asked whether he would concede. He said, "we'll wait and see what happens when they open the machines next week." Scary coming from a fine upstanding conservative. cheney was in LA last week campaigning for the lil fascist and some of his commercials showed him with bush in the White House. The dems ran an ad about tauzins recent DUI arrest. Maybe Louisianians voted "values." Melancon was gracious after the election

1. Wasn't Tauzin supposed to take up a nice job with a lobbying outfit? |
|
Whatever happened to that?

2. This is the son of billy |
|
Billy Tauzin, chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, retired (he is being treated for stomach cancer). His son, also Billy, ran for the seat. Looks like he lost, although there may be a recount.

4. That is his Daddy, Billy Tauzin III |
|
who held the congressional seat for more than 20 years. lil billy tauzin III ran for his daddy's seat but lost pending a recount. The lil prick would not have been in the race if it weren't for daddy. He's a model 30ish bush republican party fascist youth, yakking about values and the sanctity of marriage, when in reality he's a beer guzzling frat boy with the morals of an alley cat. My apologies to alley cats everywhere.

I believe you are right. It is wonderful to hear Boo-dro and Tee-buh-doe discuss Loo-zee-Anna politics. I don't care what they are saying, the accents are fascinating.

9. and then there's Breaux. Prounounced Re-pub-lick-ann |
|
Retiring U.S. Sen. John Breaux, D-Crowley, endorsed Mount, but mostly stayed out of the 3rd District race other than being on hand for the candidacy announcement of Tauzin. Breaux and the Tauzins are longtime family friends.

7. Is no one else just amazed at how close some of these elections are? |
