Poll question: Stupid question Poll:
Is it legitimate ( or intellectually consistent) to oppose the war in Iraq, yet support the war on terror?

I'll be honest. This a Freeper flush-out poll.

4. The second option.
The Freepers think the Iraq was part of the larger war on terror, so they view those who oppose Iraq as opposing the war on terror.

3. They're both based on spurious goals and claims... but...
It is not inconsistent to oppose Iraq, support terror. Duh.

6. I supported going after OBL
Not Saddam. I happen to know a few Kurds who left Iraq years ago. Saddams terrorists were his own. Saddam mainly terrorized his own citizens. While I admit they probably needed help to get Saddam out, Bush completely lied about why he wanted to go to Iraq! He wanted to draw the terrorist to our soldiers. He thinks this will keep them out of America. He thinks this is the war on terror because he thinks he is succeeding in drawing the terrorists to him. Those that agree w/ this philosophy will be the only people on the face of the earth who are surprised by the next attack on American soil.
