I have a website that has 3.5 million hits - how to best use it??
I have a website, www.domainofarnheim.com, that has gotten 3.5 million hits since I changed the format to election fraud. Yes, that's 3.5 million hits in about 3.5 weeks.

My question is this: what should I put on the site? I want to put the most pertinent information and links so that it will be easy to use and read.

I am not a web developer or a HTML expert. Hell, I'm not even a FrontPage expert. I just have space and the desire to devote my site to the cause.

Any suggestions?

I know that there are probably more and more sites out there like mine so maybe I'm just muddying the waters?

Opinions, comments and suggestions welcome!

Thanks.

I try to work on the site but it's hard work. ;) Between school and work and home life, it's hard work running a site.

7. I was trying to fit it all on that page
I didn't want to have a bunch of stuff on multiple pages.

:)

Wasn't trying to strain any eyes.

My co-workers here use my site and that's pretty darn cool. I am now considered the "expert" on this stuff. I was once considered the "crackpot." LOL!

5. I have no idea of he URLs but their are recounts in
San Diego CA and Washington state (check the Unfiltered blog from Air America Radio) to find info on the San Diego Mayoral recount, and maybe daily kos for info on the Washington Gubenatoral Recount.

Also, linking to blogs like atrios, daily kos, blogforamerica, etc might prove useful for scoops in the future.
Also, check Smirking Chimp daily, they get articles every day, some of which concern recount info, etc.

32. If you wanna brainstorm
go over to the Meeting Room and start a thread - something like ideas for {name of your website} and I'll look for it. I rarely turn on my chat these days, but I know a little HTML and a little about web masering and web promotion, so I'd love to help you a bit, and at least brainstorm ideas... Let me know when to look LOL

12. You could help Buzzflash
Promote our film about Electronic Voting called "Electile Dysfunction"

We'd sure appreciate it, spent over a year travelling the country making it, interviewing stars, computer specialists, etc

and it's filled with my animations made just for the film.. we've spent a ton of money on it and don't expect to make it back, we just want to get the word out..

Here's the Buzzflash link and the link to our trailer for the film

http://www.buzzflash.com/premiums/04/11/pre04073.html

Here's the trailer link:

http://www.electiledysfunctionmovie.com/trailer.html

All the info about the film is there - appreciate the offer, if you need help on your site as well, let us know - we build them too

Out takebackthemedia.com site had over 100 million hits in it's first year alone.

thanks for the offer, you're doing our country a great service

Best,

symbolman

I am going to try to work on the site tonight. Last night I couldn't due to classes but will definately work on it tonight.

I appreciate you letting me post your trailer.

This will be awesome!

I do need help with the site but can't afford help. :) So, I am going to muddle through as best as I can.

22. I appreciate you wanting to post the trailer
Buzzflash has a banner that might work at the top of their site, if you want to snag that, I think it would make your page more visually appealing - lots of good info you've accumulated..

Where do you think all of these hits are originating? Are you a member of some vast club, perhaps the Left Wing Conspiracy? :)

thanks so much for your support!

23. One other thing
you could make a little money if you install these ads, go to http://www.fastclick.com and get set up.. might get enough for some Xmas presents for kids with it.

my wife says it's not hard to set up and you can choose to NOT run some ads, ads that you don't agree with.. they are pop unders so they aren't so rude..

hope this helps.

It's funny because I had about 575 hits total after a year of having that site up. I change it to its current format and BAM! I get hits all over the place. I can't believe it.

I also get the freaks as you probably saw.

I'm glad that you got rid of the boxes with the text inside, hard to read..

as for your hate mail there are a few things you can do, report him to his ISP for threats, he can be banned for that - send his emails with all the headers to his ISP with abuse@hisisp.com in it..

they get mad and dump guys like that..

You can send physical threats like that to authorities, FBI, police, etc..

Sometimes they can be real, but if the guy gets a visit from a cop it will tend to back them down..

IF he is military, you can send these threats to his commanding officer at his base, and he can be jailed or busted down in rank for this.

They will screw him.

Keep the "messing" with the site, you're doing a great job, looking better all the time, and thanks for the big link, Buzzflash will thank you too!

I am trying to make it look as professional as possible. I don't want it to look thrown together. If I hope to get the message across, then I have to present it in a professional and clear manner.

Thanks for the advice. I got some more emails last night. It's a bit odd, actually, because I'm such a peace-loving person that I can't imagine doing something like that.

All it is for now is a copy of Chimpy's ANG enlistment form where he checks off "not volunteering for overseas duty"

Very informative stuff about liberal talk radio:

http://ltradio.blogspot.com/

Damn, you must be paying a fortune for bandwidth! I know the guy who runs the www.oreilly-sucks.com site posts here and is always complaining about his bandwidth getting clobbered. I told him to switch to Blogger, where they don't care how many hits you get (hell, it works for Atrios).

I'll check out your site.

38. Nice work!
Two suggestions:

Be sure to copy some of the content of the articles from newspapers into your own webpages -- with appropriate notation of author/publisher. After a week or two the newspapers charge people who want to have access to the archives. I have already "lost" access to several of the articles I bookmarked just after the election.

It looks like you are trying to keep your webpage simple - which is nice - I would suggest that a really good link for 'beginners' is to Chuck Herrin's site - he is a Republican Information Security Professional who illustrates how easy it is to hack the vote and says that he would be more surprised if the vote were *not* hacked than if it was... <http://www.chuckherrin.com/hackthevote.htm>

It worked for Thomas Paine. It works on the internet. Its NEWS posted to community locations. On the internet, we call this community a blog like "Daily Kos" or its a Yahoo/Google group, or a mailing lists. In the offline community there are those that answer polls with "No Opinion, and I don't know" believe it or not many of our neighbors are not news hounds or political junkies. These folks do gather around community information wells to see whats going on, and these drinking spots are local cork bulletin boards where ever they may be.
