Just got my Selective Service local Board application |

There was a thread here a couple days ago and I signed up on line for an application, It was postmarked on Dec 2, they did not waste anytime. I wonder if anyone else got there's. I'm going to submit the application.

I considered applying, but then decided I would not be comfortable deciding who goes to war and who does not. :(
Also, do you know if you will be getting requests from your own community or will they be assorted from around the country?

I assume you mean an application to serve on the board, right? How did you get it? How did you find a local board's contact info? I am interested in this.

suggesting we request the application, to keep an eye on things so to speak, anyway I e-mailed a request and got it today. I'm going to send in the application and see what happens. According to the brochure, it seems alot more likely they could in fact have a draft. The have a diagram starting with Induction flow and at the end it says 100,000 in 30 days. I wish i knew how to scan it on the computer. Oh well not much interest in the thread anyway. And no they do no ask for party affliation.
