Wellington Webb for DNC chair?
I was just reading that the former Denver mayor was in the running for the job, and I think he may be a good call. He is from a swing state in a swing region, and an accomplished African American. I think the Dems need to promote diversity through more than rhetoric, and having an African American chair our party would send a very good message. Plus, he looks like a pretty sharp guy, and very accomplished.

1. If you're looking at diversity, he's better qualified
than Donna Brazille.

2. don't know anything about him
other than what i read on the link, but he seems alright. he comes from an honest background.

you're not going to get very far with him on these boards, i don't think. cause while his last name does have 4 letters, it doesn't start with 'D' or end with 'ean.'

3. Dean Dean Dean..
If it weren't for Howard Dean, Webb might be a good choice.

4. Rather Dull Fellow
has a tendency to do too much "nepotism" stuff. He was always getting busted for hiring friends/family.

7. No, NO, No
Webb's background is clear here in Colorado. He gave his deadbeat, criminal son several "jobs" that he was paid absorbatant amounts of money for. He gave no bid contracts to friend's during the construction of DIA. I could research this info here if you need it. Please do not suggest any position of power for this man! Research him thoroughly and I think you'll find he is more like Bush than Kerry!

9. DISCLAIMER
I'm not backing anyone in this race, just looking at different possibilities for Dean very well could not get it.
