Where are the democratic spam e mails?? |
|
I never get any democratic spam e mails.
I get republican ones all the time.
Sappy ones about our troops and patriotisim.
Ones about how the Democrats and ACLU are contributing to moral decline.
Ones about frivolous lawsuits.
My favorite election one had no text but a series of paired pictures like one of Bush cutting Brush or hunting paired with Kerry windsurfing or looking faggy. That was a great peice of slash and burn.
Another about Teresa Kerry supporting terror through her foundations.
After the election I got one with a narrative how we were sending Kerry and Jane Fonda and Michael Moore and all these democrats to Iraq and it even had a professional looking cartoon with Kerry, Moore, and other Dems with Bin Laden and Saddam.
Where the hell are all the progressive spam e mails??? I hear people quoting these conservative ones like gospel. I always look them up on www.snopes.com or www.truthorfiction.com and then hit "reply all" and debunk them but I am a drop in the bucket compared to how many are being sent out. I have only ever got like 1 or 2 democratic ones!

2. That's true I have gotten those. But just ones meant to influence opinion |
|
and put OUR point out we are sorely lacking. We better get in this game or lose it.

3. Where's the one talking about Joe Smith who worked 35 years and |
|
lost his pension when his company was sold while the CEO made a million?
Where's the one about Bush's drunk driving conviction and drug use? If what Kerry did 30 years ago is the subject of chain e mails why not that?
What about one giving examples of Bush's failed attempts at business and the correlating that with his running up the deficit?

4. The Bushevik Spam Blast mail effort is likely highly funded |
|
and has been around perhaps as long as a decade.
You don't see Democratic Spam Mails, even truthful ones, unlike the Bushevik Lie Festivals, because our party never thought to mount a counter effort.
Like so many other arenas, our leaders still don't have any idea what the fuck is going on.

Probably gets a similar answer to those prompted by questions like "Why is there no liberal answer to Faux?" or "Why did it take us this long to get Air America off the ground?" Etc.
We ignore the power of those moronic yet slavishly forwarded propaganda emails at our peril. Maybe liberals realize that such tactics are shallow and insipid, but if the content is compelling enough, it'll get forwarded, and forwarded, and forwarded...
And INFLUENCE people.
