Hearings? What hearings?
As much as we might be getting frothed up about it, the Conyers Election Fraud hearings are getting no mention in MSM, at least not that I've seen. CNN is doing a good job of duping Americans into thinking they're being tough on the govt by repeatedly showing the soldier questioning Rumsfeld (but will they do the followup re: that soldier's reassignement to the stockade?) and MSNBC thinks people somehow still care about Scott Peterson. But don't expect much outcry over this, at least not on your teevee news.

2. If the election actually gets overturned somehow, the RW will go ballistic
because they will think it was out of the blue. *no pun intended*

5. I'll bet Kkkarl Rove and the rest of the BushCo...
were watching very carefully. They WILL launch a counter-attack as soon as the story picks up steam. Think "memo-gate."

3. ya know . . . if the shoe were on the other foot . . .
and these kinds of charges were being leveled against Democrats, and it was a Republican hearing, every damned cable "news" channel as well as broadcast networks would be giving it gavel-to-gavel coverage . . . and that's a fact . . .

I checked in on MSNBC and other stations for coverage. Zilch.

Activists Hold Forum Spotlighting Voting Issues in Presidential Election

The same day Bush's Ohio votes are certified, sponsors say much still needs to be improved.

By Nick Anderson, Times Staff Writer

WASHINGTON — While President Bush secured his reelection with a 119,000-vote victory in Ohio, voting-rights advocates dwelled Tuesday on a statistic they said told another story — more than 414,000 calls to national hotlines established to monitor complaints and compile eyewitness observations about the Nov. 2 vote.

Among those calls, according to a new report from the Common Cause Education Fund, were many accounts from Ohio.

A woman in Miami County took her registration card to a polling site, the report said, but was forced to use a provisional ballot even though her address was current.

A man in Knox County complained that his daughter was forced to wait more than seven hours to vote, one of 11,000 people able to use just two machines. "I just thought you would like to know that," the man said. "It seems a little extreme to me."

7. I watched. The only place I heard about this hearing was on KO,
If no one knows its happening, no one will watch and that's thanks to corporate owned media.
