I am so disgusted with the news right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I keep scanning CNN, Fox, and MSNBC and all 3 are showing details about the that stupid basketball fight. WHAT!! Who the hell cares about this enough to have it on every channel.

Nothing about the hearings.

They better have something on later

Maybe as long as Vladimir and Estragon did in "Waiting for Godot."

8. Sounds like a DU contributer got through on NPR Talk of the Nation!
Hey
:bounce:
I just heard a Left Wing, DU type opinion break through the MSM black-out and hypocrisy of ALL-Ukraine, All-the-time smoke screen.

The caller almost caused a panic, and prompted the British "Expert" to remark, "Is this the Russian Consulate on the line?" Then he proceeded to launch into FULL SPIN mode.

OOOPS, another just got through!!!!!!! WHHHOOOHHHOOO! :headbang:

One thing I noticed, NPR will not usually bring up a topic like this, but if WE do ON NPR (on shows like "Talk of the Nation"), they will respond as if reporting on new info.

Keep at it an we might make some head way on this. :toast:

Now they've moved to the Pat Tillman Controversy!

6. Here's my email
to CNN Live:

I just finished watching the Conyers forum on the 2004 vote in Ohio on CSPAN. It was amazing. Many important and legitimate questions about how we vote and how the veracity of our vote were raised and need to be addressed by Congress but they won't be as long as the media continues to IGNORE the problems and limit coverage.

When I tuned in to CNN after the hearings what did I get? THE BASKETBALL BRAWL??? You've got to be kidding me.

So just what is CNN? Are you a network of journalists or entertainers?

7. Did CNN, FOX, or any of the NBCs cover the forum at all?
Did the cover any of it live? If yes, how much?

They are covering a irrelevant sports fight from beginning to end without commercial.

The forum lasted 3 hours.
Can someone time the live sports coverage and post?

Can someone guage the number of minutes they regurgitate and comment on the sports circus compared to the forum?

I think we are getting a picture of what corporate american (RPNS - Republican Propaganda Networks) think of theft of the citizens.

Didn't someone report yesterday that the NBCs were going to cover the forum live?

Thank C-Span.

10. I missed it !!!!!
:dunce:Anyone know when the replay will be? Most of the time, the replay starts after all live events are over.

Which channel, CSPAN, CSPAN2, CSPAN3????

12. I would watch more
basketball if it was like this more of the time. I hate sports that discourage against physical contact. I think brawling in the stands should be added as a permanent halftime entertainment.

**editors note: I do hate basketball, but this was written in jest:)

14. I hear you
I quit watching cable news when all three cable networks had wall to wall coverage of ,i kid you not, a dog stuck on a patch of ice in a lake. Needless to say, that was my cue to turn it off and leave it off.

I mean really, if you run out of domestic news there is *gasp* a whole world out there to cover. Or even use the time to go in depth on domestic issues at least. If i wanted celebrity news or sporting news then i would watch E! or ESPN. Or watch Animal Planet for the dog. That's what they are there for.

I don't see it changing anytime soon ,so i just get everything i need online now. CNN isn't worth the aggravation.

16. I gave up on Cable News when...
They all had LIVE coverage of a missing Female Collage student (I think it was CNN, who had a Live, Helicopter shot) for about 3 hours.

It turned out, she had just slept over at some guys apartment, that she had met the night before at a party or bar. :eyes:

17. I have only heard news about the meetings from AAR
Basketbrawl does seem to play more on the air than a good old fashioned conspiracy hearing.
