1. There's a nominee I'd feel good about.
I love Clarke. He is the one man who saw the writing on the wall about 9/11 well in advance. Too bad he had to filter his reports through Condi "semi-Colon" Rice. Not that Bush would have gotten it even if briefed face to face by the guy once a week. He was too busy finding an excuse to finish his daddy's war.

3. He's great on that show
Very funny.

If you can pick it up from your local library, you might enjoy the audio version of his book. He reads it himself, and has a very engaging presentation. When he quotes Bush or Clinton, for instance, he does pretty good voice characterizations of both of them -- a little twang for Bush, a little Bubba for Clinton.
