Donna Brazile is not on the short list for DNC chair
(or long list).

I wonder why? She seems like a good candidate.

1. You obviously didn't read her chats with Peggy Noonan.
I lost a lot of respect for her.

Her opinion of this past election is that we got our asses kicked.

She has said very little about the massive systematic disenfranchisement through voting machine access in Ohio.

Sorry, I used to be a fan, but she gets no love from me now.

2. I believe she "withdrew" herself from contention. I don't know why.

3. She has consistantly been...
one of the least effective spokespersons the Dems have had recently, IMO.

More DINO time -- don't need it, don't want it. We need someone who is going to kick ass and take names.

4. A lot of people don't like her especially about bringing out the number
of black folks working on Kerry's campaign.

I like her because she does discuss issues that affect me & mine when she speaks as a party operative. I'm sure she's not on the list for that reason.

5. She is too friendly with Karl Rove and has angered many of us because
she wasn't supportive enough of our candidates on the Pundit shows. She often seemed more Repug Lite than Democrat.

I'm not sorry about this. She really overexposed herself on those shows and we need a fresh person who hasn't been involved with all the pain we Dems have gone through since Clinton. And, hopefull someone "outside the Beltway" with a different perspective. I support Dean because of that.

6. I disagree
Donna Brazile is one of the least effective Democratic spokespersons I've ever seen. I do not find her personable, well-informed, or persuasive. Plus, she strikes me as far too "middle-of-the-road" for my tastes. She sounds more like a moderate old-school Republican than a Democrat.

7. Thank Gawd
sometimes I like her, but then she turns around and slips into "we fucked up mode" I'm sick of the dems apologizing for everything

12. Finally,
I was waiting for someone to bring that up. Hell the guy lost in his home state. It was a spectaularly lame campaign! He should be disqualified and so should she. Besides she's pulling down good CNN money. Why give a shit about the party?

9. thank god, she's the worst sort of ass-kissing GOP-enabling Dem
She's the exact opposite of what we need.

She makes Colmes look like Hannity.

I hope she disappears for good, away from the party altogether

11. Yeah, I too am surprised that DLC didn't consider her a good candidate
Since she's perfectly lame, inarticulate and obedient. Perfect for them.
