Intelligence Computers and Votergate
According to "Crossing The Rubicon" by Michael Ruppert, who works a lot with Wayne Madsen btw, we find this curious factoid:

"It is not by chance that most of the military and all of the intelligence agencies in the US now operate on UNIX or Macintosh systems."

This quote comes after discussing Windows based operating systems and a wild software program called PROMIS. Windows has always been rumored (sic - proven vulnerabilities...(see http://www.heise.de/tp/r4/artikel/5/5263/1.html "How NSA access was built into Windows-Careless mistake reveals subversion of Windows by NSA." Duncan Campbell 04.09.1999 )

Anyway, the Madsen article at http://www.onlinejournal.com/Special_Reports/120604Madsen/120604madsen.html
contains this telling paragraph:

"According to Curtis, Feeney and other top brass at Yang Enterprises, a company located in a three-story building in Oviedo, Florida, wanted the prototype written in Visual Basic 5 (VB.5) in Microsoft Windows and the end-product designed to be portable across different Unix-based vote tabulation systems and to be "undetectable" to voters and election supervisors."

Now whether or not the spooky or tin-foil-hat charges are made against us, it would be LOGICAL to assume that this type of cross-platform capability would POTENTIALLY be useful to either military or intelligence operating systems which use them...The next OBVIOUS question would be WHY ? Which we have already very well established on this thread !
