Donnie Fowler on C-SPAN now!
Edited on Sat Dec-11-04 10:05 AM by MyPetRock
He's running for DNC chairman. Runs change the party.com, and was General Clark's campaign manager for awhile. The guy wants to bring in the grassroots activists, and actually address our needs and concerns. I hear some fire and brimstone about real Democratic values and standing up to the Pukes coming from this young man, as opposed meek let's crowd as close to the center as we can get away with before real Dems notice rhetoric we currently have to swallow from our so-called leaders. No he's talking against media consolidation, how he's in favor of stoping the corporatization of America (my term), along with really EMBRACING LABOR! If Howard Dean doesn't run for the position, my vote is with Fowler!
:kick::kick:

on second edit: Someone like Fowler just might be able to bring me back to the Democratic Party. I am currently very disgusted with our leadership status quo.

1. That was a nice caller - Democrats want to ban Christmas and love
Islam and hate America.

They are so brainwashed.

2. I just turned it on
Pretty good screed -- "Your belief that you own God is discouraging and disgusting...I hope you stay in the Republican party" and he goes on from there.

Pulling no punches, to say the least.

6. You may be correct there. The guy is hot!
He's also totally unconnected to corporate interests. How long has it been that we had a leader we could say that about?

7. How long will it take for...
Al From and his ilk to pull the rug out from under Fowler. You know...they'll do a worse spin on him than the Repubs could do.

Thanks for the heads up info because I don't subscribe to cable tv anymore. Guess I'm gonna have to go back just to get info like this.

8. All I watch regarding politics is C-SPAN.
And often I don't watch it, because they seem to be having an inordinate number of Repukes lately. Just happened on this one.

If the DNC does not elect someone like Fowler I won't contribute anymore. It's a waste of money, imho, to keep trying to outpuke the Pukes. Fowler stated he wanted to get away from this system of elite party abvisors, who claim to be speaking for Americans, but in reality don't have a clue. Man, did that sound right on, and was definitely music to my ears.

9. I think that is what MOST of us
WANT right now. We have GOT to have some strong fearless voices out there. Remember that a lot of folks said they voted for Bush because he showed his "resolve" i.e. "strength" by keeping to his one message (even if it was wrong!)

We need a voice that is not afraid to call a damn liar just what he or she is...a damned liar! I am tired of the DLC's oatmeal mush responses like "misled" and "misguided." What the fcuk does THAT mean?

10. Fowler or Dean
I would be happy with either man as DNC chair.
