In statement made to the AP Bill Moyers said:

"I'm going out telling the story that I think is the biggest story of our time: how the right-wing media has become a partisan propaganda arm of the Republican National Committee," says Moyers. Therefore, we don't have a vigilant, independent press whose interest is the American people."

Bill Moyer's was a bastion of hope for journalism in this country. I know that the talking heads will spend the next month denouncing him, which is unfortunate.

I am glad he is getting out of this BS game for his own sake, must be the most discouraging thing for him to watch.\

At most, a couple of million folks watch "NOW" on PBS. Hell, I didn't find out about this show until I started visiting this forum about six months ago.
