The Only Good Republican Is A _______ Republican |
|
I know what this implies, but I didn't want to do a poll because I didn't want to limit choices. For me, the answer is: The only good republican is a DEMOCRAT-VOTING republican. Anybody have anything more creative?

I had a very bad experience where i was forcefully sodomized by my neighbor (who just happens to be a republican). He broke into my house while i was sleeping and after deciding robbing me wasn't enough (Only had like $10 in my wallet) he came into my room and... yea. I would love to personally tear apart every republican out there limb by limb for such a despicable act. Don't joke around like that, thats a serious topic for some of us out here.

A Country music song. I can all most hear there drawls twanging it out now as there drool cups bubble over. While they are draped in the Confederate flag dragging there knuckles on the ground. I'm sure Jingoist Kieth would play in that vid in a heart beat and the tune will sell well over a million copy's. :)

Not in this day and age. If you cling to whatever old ideas the republican party might have stood for in the past and continue to vote republican, you are no better than the liars, thieves, and religious nutjobs that make up the current party.

54. A Republican in name only. |
|
My father, a registered Republican, would be a good example. He first voted in 1972 for Nixon. He's voted in every presidential election since; never for the loser (yes, he voted for Gore in 2000 and Kerry in November). He is nearly a straight ticket Dem voter now. The only reason he still is a Republican is because the paperwork didn't go through which would have changed his affiliation to "no party affiliation".
So, technically he is a Republican who hasn't voted Rep for pres since Bush the Father's first term; voted for Chiles...the Dem that came next...forgot his name, and McBride (Ex-NY'er living in Florida); I don't know when he last voted Rep for House or Senate...a long time ago.
He supports universal health care, separation of church and state, eliminating the Bush tax cuts, reducing deficits, opposes the war in Iraq, pro-choice, supports gay marriage...yadda yadda.
Hell, he even thinks handguns should be banned!
Of course, he's from NYC and registered in the early '70s. There was still a base of non-fucking insane Republicans in the Northeast back then...not just the handful left today.
He does support heavy defense spending, though.
I'm not quite sure if someone is considered a Republican if it's only due to the hassle of un-becoming one ;)

|
Why do we have to take this lying down? When anybody mentions that giggling idiot killer in the Oval Office, simple change the subject, or inform that person that the giggling idiot killer isn't the president. He's just a rich daddy's boy who lied and cheated his way -- with daddy's help, and lots of it -- into office because he would do whatever the fat cats told him to do.
George Bush Jr. isn't the real president. He never was. It's time we make that fact known.

I know a few Republicans, some relatives and friends, alas, but all of them are pretty good people. It's just that they, like so many, are mis-informed or brainwashed by the corrupt MSM.
If they knew even the half the truth, these middle of the road traditional Republicans would never vote that ticket again, and especially for the likes of this regime.
And one day soon the true numbers of those registered Republicans who voted for Kerry, and Gore, will come to light.
