DFU SONG: Christmas 2004 - It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas (for the GOP)
DFU CHRISTMAS 2004 SONGS | 12-2004 | Lyrics, Doug from Upland

Posted on 12/11/2004 6:06:06 PM PST by doug from upland

MIDI - IT'S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas for the GOP
Dubya just won another term...watch all the DUmmies squirm
Steam comes out of their head till they can't see

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas for the GOP
The economy picks up speed...Tommy Daschle's sad indeed
It fills us with glee

We laugh at Kerry and Edwards, McAuliffe, and Jesse who fill the airwaves with hate
They have no issues and so they all panic...the spectacle was so great
To watch them breathing fire is a sight you should not miss
Hey, RATS, I'm bending over now...here's something you can kiss

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas for the GOP
They held "Hate Bush" in Hollywood...that one was really good
Their false compassion all the world could see

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas for the GOP
The big smile that's on my face...they're not going to erase
Celebrate with me...celebrate with me

6. Wow...that makes me want to reach out and compromise with them
:puke:
I certainly hope that anyone who thinks we here at DU should "watch what we say becuase we have to try to convince them of our point of view" understand that they will NEVER think the way we do.

We truly are at war with them.

5. Read the Comments: I can only hope they are foolish enough to come to DC.
We voted 90% to 9 for Kerry, and we won't take their freeper bullshit. On January 20th, the streets belong to US.

7. No wiki, no point
The Free Republic has no wiki. With no wiki, they are just a sensationalist cesspool. I just have to wonder what the fools have to say about this:

http://www.azcentral.com/arizonarepublic/news/articles/1210armor10.html

Its too bad that they don't keep a closer watch on actual conservatives.

9.  More "thoughts" - from freerepublic.com
HEY YOU STUPID DEMOCRATS - YA KNOW WHAT THE REPUBLICANS GOT THAT YOU DON'T GOT?

UNABORTED VOTERS !!

How?? Everytime I turned on the TV last summer all I saw were pictures of grinning dykes and faeries getting married. Next came John "reporting for duty" Kerry who began and ended every speech by talking about Nam.

They are the party that is against everything. Maybe they should define what they are FOR.

Gay Marriage
No Guns
No Religion
Raising the minority at the expense of the majority
Global Tests
Dismantling the military
Wholly subsidized health care
More money to solve problems but no accountability (education etc...)
Appeasement
No racial profiling, even in airports
Infinite state sponsored welfare

11. Well I just couldn't resist.
Gay Marriage Equalitarian marriage
No Guns Gun control-- it's necessary except if you're delusional. Taggants in all explosive or potentially explosive products.
No Religion Secular society
Raising the minority at the expense of the majority The majority are the middle class and impoverished. They have not been raised up by the neocon delusionals in power. They deserve to be because they're the majority.
Global Tests For what?
Dismantling the military Never heard it.
Wholly subsidized health care Damn right.
More money to solve problems but no accountability (education etc...) Another delusion. More money to make the government function, to see to its continued existence. The issue got more profound after Grover Norquist became so powerful.
Appeasement Of whom? Hopefully not the neocon sociopaths. They should all be trucked to the ICC and tried for their crimes.
No racial profiling, even in airports Sounds good to me.
Infinite state sponsored welfare Life is not infinite. Nothing is infinite. What universe do you live in?

Now I'm going to sound like a conservative.
There is not much money in the world, but little.
Therefore, it should be spent wisely to nourish people, to educate people, and to see to it that the government serves the people, not the other way round.
No more of our citizens' blood should be spilled.
No more.
No more should a mother be anxious about the next day.
No more.
And securing the living wage should be the chief governmental imperative. Lash the corporations, remove corporate personhood from all jurisprudence. Let the concept be anathema and finally let CEOS & shareholders take a direct and unavoidable legal and moral responsibility for what their organizations do.
Because if they had to actually pay for the crimes done by the bloodless corporation, they wouldn't commit them.
They'd do something that hasn't come easily to them for more than a century-- they'd actually have to think about consequences.

The people are owed a living wage.
They are owed health care.
They are owed education.
And they are owed life, life, life.
I don't care if foreigners bomb us, that's their responsibility.
We're not to blame at all. It's skin off our nose, plenty to mourn, but it's not as bad as having our souls in hell.
But when we decide that the only way to beat a terrorist is to become terrorists ourselves, I tell you, we're on the wrong path.
