Purge the Heathens!!!

In another thread, a poster vowed to never vote for a "DLC Democrat". Well, I hope she enjoys the status quo (or worse), since she has pretty much eliminated much of the Democratic party's roster of political talent:

Dems named the DLC "New Dem of the Week":

Sen. Ken Salazar
Sen. Mark Pryor
Sen. Blanche Lincoln
Sen. Bob Graham
Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton
Gov. Tom Vilsack
Gov. Kathleen Babineaux Blanco
Gov. Mark Warner
Gov. Jim Doyle
Gov. Jennifer Granholm
Gov. Ed Rendell
Gov. Mike Easley
Gov. Brad Henry
Gov. Kathleen Sebelius
Gov. Phil Bredesen
Mayor Ray Nagin (New Orleans)
Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick (Detroit)
Mayor Gavin Newsom (San Francisco)
Mayor Bart Peterson (Indianapolis)

House New Democratic Coalition (partial list):

Rep. Adam Smith (WA)
Rep. Allyson Schwartz (PA)
Rep. Jane Harmon (CA)
Rep. Rahm Emmanuel (IL)
Rep. Jim Cooper (TN)
Rep. Artur Davis (AL)
Rep. Dennis Cardoza (CA)
Rep. Mike Michaud (ME)
Rep. Ron Kind (WI)
Rep. Ed Case (HI)
Rep. Ellen Tauscher(CA)
Rep. Mike Ross (AR)
Rep. Zoe Lofgren (CA)
Rep. Tom Allen (ME)
Rep. Tom Udall (NM)
Rep. Loretta Sanchez (CA)
Rep. Steve Rothman (NJ)
Rep. John Larson (CT)
Rep. Stephanie Herseth (SD)

Senate New Dems:

Sen. Debbie Stabenow
Sen. Herb Kohl
Sen. John Kerry
Sen. Bill Nelson
Sen. Tim Johnson
Sen. Kent Conrad
Sen. Maria Cantwell
Sen.Evan Bayh
Sen. Joe Lieberman
Sen. Dianne Feinstein
Sen. Ben Nelson
Sen. Tom Carper
Sen. Ken Salazar

1. Oh, so THOSES are the idiots that are responsible for us losing
election after election.

Thanks for the list.

3. Hey genius

These are the people who have been WINNING elections, often in Red states.

If you think that the DNC/DCCC/DSCC message operation is somehow driven by the DLC or the NDN, than you are disturbingly uninformed about the realities of national Democratic politics.

5. I agree - LaRouche in 2008.
LaRouche was excluded from the debates, therefore that is the reason we lost, therefore LaRouche should be the candidate in 2008 in order for us to win!

NOTE: This post is completely sarcastic except for this part.

6. Also, notice Kerry is not on the list.
So the DLC could have anything to do with losing how?

8. Thanks for the list, do you have any more?
I'm saving this list off as a list of those who will never get my vote under any circumstances whatsoever!

Sad to say, I have voted for Rahm Emmanuel in the first general election where he ran for the seat he currently holds, but I voted against him during the primary, which is the real race in Chicago. I no longer live in his district.

Hillary will get no vote for me if she runs for president. I wouldn't vote for DLC scum if my life depended on it!
