Movie says bush is an a**hole. |
|
Was watching Blade III, and the day walker was getting a psychiatric eval. He was asked the day, the year. When he was asked who was president, who was in the white house, he said 'an asshole.' Blade obviously isn't a pink tutu Democrat.
Can't believe the repugnantcans are making Oscar nods for Mel Gibson's snuff movie a political issue. They have a lobbying group demanding that when the Oscar nominations come out, they want The Passion of Christ to receive Best director, best film, best whatever. If not, they threaten a boycott of all Hollywood movies. They will really go nuclear (sorry, noo ku ler) if F 9/11 wins over Christ. I guess Oscar voters will cave, everybody else in this country does before the hate-wing party.

2. Good. Let the repukes boycott anything they want. |

Silly movie. Whack-job director. Boycott all you want.
By the way, what was that about the "last temptation of christ" that I remember was the buzz?

"...they want The Passion of Christ to receive Best director, best film, best whatever. If not, they threaten a boycott of all Hollywood movies."
What arrogant stupidity! How very typical of their mindset: "We get our way or we won't play at all!"
Besides, weren't they already boycotting all things Hollywood?
I hope Mel's snuff film is completely ignored by the Oscars!

6. I didn't see the Passion |
|
But I doubt it will win best picture or director. I'd me surprise if F9/11 won also. What are the other contenders?

The only good thing about that movie was the eye candy (Pontius Pilate). Yum!
Please let them run off in a huff if Passion isn't nominated or doesn't win. Shouldn't Christ's message be more important than a silly awards show and movie anyway?! These people need to seriously get a grip.

who gives a rats ass...everytime they say they will boycott something...they are only making bigger fools of themselves then already are...
they should focus on educating themselves instead of boycotting everything under the sun...

mildy enjoyed the Passion of the Christ... but there just too many films better than it this year. In my top Ten Passion of the Christ wouldn't be near it.
Simply put... Oscar rewards the films that deserve it (Supposedly.... mind you) and not because such and such group demands it. As a Christian myself.... who cares if Passion of the Christ wins a reward or not.
I doubt F 9/11 will get any victories either. I don't see it getting nominated for best picture.. and didn't Moore decide not to enter it for documentary? If he had done so.. it would've won that hands down in my opinion.
