THANK YOU. EXACTLY. How ANYBODY in their right mind could have picked this complete POS for a president is completely unfathomable.
Imagine this asshole on the Apprentice? He'd be out in ten minutes. If he even ever actually turned up.
Instead of Apprentice we need Apresident. Oh holy crap could you imagine?!?

"One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we've been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We're no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It's simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we've been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back. So the old bamboozles tend to persist as the new ones rise."
Carl Sagan, "The Demon Haunted World", 1995. (Thanks to the DUer who suggested this book a couple weeks ago -- there's good stuff in it...)

could care less about experience or the appropriateness of placing x person in y position. It's all about supporting the cult leader without question. Kerik will be the fall guy but * is the real fool.

8. Well, don't expect the media to report that |
|
They've invested far too much time and too many resources in Stupidhead that they're not going to start tearing him down now. We're stuck with him for another four years while rich reporters sit on the porch at their Nantucket resort homes and fret about What It All Means while counting their investment returns.
People who think that it really matters whether we've appointed a Homeland Security Chief can just go screw themselves. Nothing matters until approximately two weeks after it does.
