Judge and family threatned because of Orielly show mis-statements
In todays Post...(even linked by drudge), the story details how fuck-up Orielly became unhinged about a judge who was supposed to have told a 14 year old victim to "get over it". The problem is...the judge never said it. Read the article about how this man and his family had their lives destroyed as a result of these compassionate conservatives over at fox. When will this shit end?

2. When will it end?
It won't.. but I am starting to see.. possiably because of Franken.. attacks against all the right wing whore mongers become more prevelant. that is the most that can be done in this environment.

Imagine the power of thousands of $5 donations against the likes of FAUX.

13. Will donations buy some advertising time?
Just a thought---a debunking ad, sort of for public service. Once or twice a week, for 5 minutes or so, unspinning crap from FAUX and others. If the time is bought after 10PM, would it be affordable?

It's a pretty harrowing story of a judge who got freeped.

Libel Suit Takes Aim at Print Reporter's Words on TV

By Alicia Mundy
Special to The Washington Post
Tuesday, December 14, 2004; Page A01

The phone rang shortly after 6 a.m. on Feb. 13, 2002, at Superior Judge Ernest B. Murphy's home in Dover, Mass., southwest of Boston. His wife, Mary Keenan, answered. "Have you turned on the news this morning?" a friend asked her. "Do you know what's in the Herald?"

The friend told her that a large photo of her husband was on the front page of the Boston Herald under the headline "Murphy's law: Lenient judge frees dangerous criminals." The story said Murphy "heartlessly demeaned victims" and had dismissed the trauma of a 14-year-old rape victim by saying, "Tell her to get over it."

Keenan woke her husband, who, as she tells it, was stunned. He told his wife he never said that.

<snip>

But Murphy's attorneys seized on Wedge's comments on "The O'Reilly Factor" on March 7, 2002. O'Reilly asked Wedge, "Are you absolutely 100 percent sure that Judge Murphy said that the rape victim should get over it?" Wedge answered, "Yes. He made this comment to three lawyers. He knows he said it, and everybody else that knows this judge knows that he said it." Murphy's attorneys contrasted these statements to Wedge's statements under oath, when he repeatedly answered "I don't know" or "I don't recall" to questions about the reporting and writing of his story.

15. The poster does not claim that O'Reilly said it
He only states that it O'Reilly became unhinged about it. He does not attribute the quote to O'Reilly.

17. You know whats really messed up...
If you watched Outfoxed, you would know that O'Fucker almost got sued by the kid, dammit, what's his name, he signed the Not in our Name petition, and his dad died on 9/11. Anyways, O'Fucker claimed all these lies that the kid did NOT say, like that Bush set up 9/11 and all this shit, so the Kid asked Al Franken if he could sue O'Reilly for slander. Franken's lawyers said that in order to win, O'Reilly would have to know that he was lying, and the problem was that O'Reilly is such a pathological liar that it would be almost impossible to prove in court. Think about that, even in this case, O'Reilly is immune because he is too much of a liar to begin with. That is fucked up.

22. I really doubt you heard him because O'Reilly did not let him speak
The interview went:

Kid: "My dad wouldn't want innocent people bombed in his name."

O'Lielly: "Shut up shut up shut up shup up! Cut his mike!"

on for his version of the situation."

Sure, he's going to TRY.

Scarborough was going to have Bill Moyers on last night, but damn if he WASN'T there.

You won't get far on DU with the comments you've posted so far.

27. They are targeting anyone and everyone who does not agree with the agenda,
which from my observation is total and complete allegiance to the Dub who is their embodiment of everything that they hold sacred, so it would make sense to go for judges or anyone in any type of position of power that might be in a position to somehow slow him/them down.

Their preference for using public monies for killing the already born over diplomacy, reason or sound judgement speaks volumes. The fact that in general most of them are willing to accept anyone as dumb as the Dub as long as he symbolizes their ability to hate the differences in human beings is a driving force.

To me, the common man voting for Bush is similar to a chicken voting for Colonel Sanders and yet they do exist in droves. I suppose it is because of how weak and impotent they felt after the terror attacks and their need for revenge that is one thing that makes them think that he is out to protect them as they huddle in their homes, covered with duct tape and plastic while he sends people out to kill in our name and make them all feel better and safer, even if those people had nothing to do with our current situation. Just as long as we are killing someone they are much more content.

I am thinking that when they find out that they might lose their double wrapped double wide, after they lose their jobs, they might well reconsider and realize that we are being attacked from within moreso than from outside forces but am still doubtful, since they still do have Fox news to tell them what to think.

Personally I think Fox news should be illegal. I am not for much for censorship of any kind but when you have a propaganda machine such as that, spreading hatred, lies, and slander to the weak of mind for the purpose of taking over this country, then they have gone too far.

But I never said that pinhead Orielly claimed anything...but he sure as hell promoted the crap out of this with his feigned outrage over judicial activism. Faux attacked this guy...put out lies as facts and his family paid the price. i hope they get nailed good.
