What do you think of the New Democrat Network?
Are you welcome the change in leadership Rosenburg might provide or is the clash between two avowed centrist orgaizations foreign to you?

1. The NDN is the DLC

New Dems ARE DLC members... aren't they?

5. We're gonna restore the promise of America
followed by a lot of twaddle about TV ads in the campaign about how the pubbies squandered the Clinton economy, but nothing about how the New Dems are going to change that.

Unless they offer the base something besides business as usual, they're going to have as much chance of success as the DLC has enjoyed.

3. Honestly? I think we need our centrist Democrats, but I cannot STAND
the DLC, or their leadership. I like Rosenberg's attempt to reach out to Hispanics. It's a lesser of two evils thing, but I prefer the NDN over the DLC.

4. The leadership at the NDN seems much easier to work with than the DLC

leadership. And I think Rosenburg might be a good leader for centrists. He needs to get more air time, however. I never hear much about him, but I hear BS from Al From all the time.
