How many voters "switched" to Bush?
There's a dweeb in a discussion group I'm part of who says he did not vote for Bush in 2000, but voted for him in 2004.

Does anyone know what the numbers or percentages might have been on vote switchers of this sort?

My assumption is that this group of switchers would be quite small, and I assume that Bush's slight increase over 2000 came mostly from new turnout.

But I'm wondering if anyone here knows where there might be some actual percentages or numbers on this?

I'm hoping to get a source that will allow me to say he is part of a minuscule, but regrettably influential, group. It would be a bonus to find evidence that this tiny group is generally ill-informed and stupid.

1. As many as Diebold needed
of course the voters themselves don't actually KNOW they "switched" to the Chimperor.

2. Kerry is also part of an influential group
But that has no meaning if democratic votes are stolen, switched, and not counted.....

3. I have no proof but...
I believe there were enough Democrats that switched to give give Bush his popular vote victory. They were hoodwinked. Many of those were in the South, in my opinion. But, I have no proof.

4. I think I know
I believe alot were Catholics who took the whole right- to- life thing and ran with it.

Now in church they are praying for Peace, they should have thought of that in Nov.
