Orwellian Republican Phrase-Of-The-Day: "tyranny of the minority"
http://msnbc.msn.com/id/6704087

...Describing the filibusters as intolerable, Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-Tenn.) has hinted he may resort to an unusual parliamentary maneuver, dubbed the "nuclear option," to thwart such filibusters.

"One way or another, the filibuster of judicial nominees must end," he said in a speech to the Federalist Society last month, labeling the use of filibusters against judicial nominees a "formula for tyranny by the minority."

4. Democrats should point out that Frist has his quote wrong.
Mill and Tocqueville wrote of the tyranny of the majority.

7. Frist should mention the tyranny of the minority
of those who want Roe v. Wade overturned.

8. Tyranny is a propoganda check value that only works one way.
It is the job of the MSM to addressed the public attention to alleged Democratic 'tyranny' when actual Republican tyranny is taking place.

Well, Frist said so....lets report it.

Rove smiles.

and how we are "elitists" if we support fair pay for workers, health coverage, and reasonable taxation on the wealthy.

Up is down, black is white, war is peace and Orwell was one hell of a prophet.

The right wing loves to play the part of the beleaguered, oppressed victim. They control congress, the white house, and the courts, and magically, yes, everything is still our fault.

13. It's only 'tyranny' when the GOPers are in the majority...
And recent history is full of examples of Republicans filibustering. But none of this is surprising...considering this is the worst bunch of hypocrites the US has ever seen.
