2. Lawsuits are one of the few things left for the common man to use to stand
up for his rights and prevent the wealtby and powerful from exploiting everyone. They've already done away with unions.

the economic conference yesterday focussed on "lawsuit abuse."

5. grrrrr......Even NPR on the spin wagon?
Dammit. FRIVOLOUS lawsuits get thrown out of court. See, Fox v. Franken. Does anyone think we'd have seat belts, airbags, safe toys, etc. without the right to sue?

Bush v. Gore was the costliest lawsuit I've ever heard of.
